Time to Own Shit

Global Alliance & Power

I told y'all why racist systems are still prevalent in this country and every country.

And I laid out for y'all why you (black people...the African diaspora) should gain economic and political currency in this country. Be patient, BE HUMBLE, be smart, don't quit, and it'll work.

Now I'm gonna tell you where you should go from here. It's simple;

Banks. Actually, fuck that, credit unions! Find the nearest credit union in your area and open a checking account there. Listen...

Don't use white-owned banks, use black banks (#bankblack... that should be a T-shirt or something). When you use white-owned banks, all you're doing is enriching the white community even more. The white community don't need your damn money, they already got theirs... centuries ago! Don't worry about them, there good!

Its time get ours. If you can't find a black bank near you. Then dammit, put your money in black bags or something, keep it your house somewhere, until you get a car or something. THEN...bank black!

Ok, moving on...

When we walked off that plantation, we didn't really realize how traumatized we were. In 2019, it'll be 400 years black people have been in this country... so a passage of time amounting to FOUR CENTURIES has gone by without black people:

  1. Being the principal owner(s) of a major team or teams in ANY of the four major American sports (2 of which we dominate)
  2. Owning (or building) major record labels and/or controlling the rights to black music (which the entire world consumes..the ENTIRE world! $$$$$ for days!!!!!!!)
  3. Owning the black hair care industry (black women this is y'all all day, for the love of God, get on that).
  4. But what is worse, though, is that we don't even own ANY companies that mass produce, manufacture, or sell: food, electricity, automobiles, water, mobile devices, appliances, or even guns and ammunitions. Where's our version of McDonald's?... Energy Source?... Toyota?... Poland Spring?... T-Mobile?... Kenmore?... and Glock/Heckler & Koch/SIG Sauer?
No goddamn place, that's where. It's nonexistent... until black people come together and put their money where their mouths are... cause that's how it starts. One rich black person... then another, and another, and another...until everything is everything. The main reason for doing this, besides the obvious, is so that we can say to Africa..."Hey, these people keep killing us, we need help!" Africa can turn around and say to the US, "Listen! If one more black man, woman, or child is murdered or mistreated in your country... you're not getting no more coltan, diamonds, oil... none of it!"

I guarantee you if that was the case, criminal justice reform in the US would happen so fast it'd be hilarious. Because, for those that don't know, coltan is a natural element that grows in three African countries (i.e. Ethiopia, the Congo, and Mozambique). The reason it's so important is because there is a substance within it, called tantalum, which is used to manufacture computers, electronic products, and possibly, cars as well (research it). So the US can't afford to lose access to coltan no matter what - but imagine, if that did happen, all of America's electronic and car companies would be VEXED beyond belief. Markets would crash. Corporate tech people would be marching in the streets. It would be madness, I'm sure.

But for now, Africa must be cleansed with the financial aid of the wealthiest black people in the West (North America and Western Europe). If we start rebuilding the worst African countries now, then within several years, the aftereffects will begin to show. What do we have to lose, I wonder? Not much. Some of us may never know which African nation we come from individually... but being in a predominantly black country will do something to you if you've always felt like a visitor.

When your religion has to be translated to you, it isn't your religion. That's what happened with Africa. Christianity was not their native belief, they held faith in the traditional African belief system (multiple gods as opposed to one). So, in regards to Africa's anti-gay laws, new black leaders could call for a vote and see how the people feel about it, let them decide. Ultimately, African countries as a whole need colossal change all around - politically, economically, legally, culturally, and academically. But it is my hope that these changes are not as farfetched as they sound. If wealthy black Americans, in collaboration with wealthy black British/Canadian/Caribbean and English people, are serious enough it can absolutely work... so long as their collective wealth is sizeable.
