"I'm continually trying to make choices that put me against my own comfort zone. As long as you're uncomfortable, it means you are growing." —Aston Kutcher
If stepping out your comfort zone scares you, it's a good thing—simply because it means you dream big. But do not allow it to stop you! Find the courage and chase your passion. We all have something that we are good at, in fact probably the best at, and it is what we would rather be doing.
Stepping out of the comfort zone is stepping out in faith. You have no idea how it is going to happen, how you are going to start, and whether people would even support your dreams; all you've got is your dream and a plan. If you don't believe in yourself, dreams and goals, how do you expect others to? You have to believe in yourself, speak things into existence, speak great things of others and yourself. No time to be lukewarm.
More so, when you have found your purpose, vision for your life, it will burn like fire, it will always be on your mind. For some it will make working for others uncomfortable and unhappy due to the fact that they know they should be greater. The entrepreneurial spirit kicks in. On the other hand, for some, it will consume their thoughts until they see it through. Knowing that you are meant for something greater than what you are doing and it is tied with your destiny/passion, you will not be happy doing anything else. Even if you are just getting started with it, do it. You'll get the sense of relief and once it is done, you feel so accomplished. You will feel so great within yourself. But more than ever, when you are genuinely ready to work on your projects, you get both the desire to do it and the power to carry it out. Believe in yourself, and use the law of attraction to attain what you want (be sure to read my article of Law of Attractions).
As unsure as you are, as inadequate and unqualified as you may feel and as fearful as you are about breaking out your comfort zone and stepping out in faith, remember you do not need to be the best of the best. You just need to have good intentions, believe in yourself, speak well of yourself and others, and START.
"Before anything great is really achieved, your comfort zone must be disturbed." —Ray Lewis
When trying and wanting to step and break out of your comfort zone, please do not tell people or announce things prematurely before it is even done. The feeling can be overwhelming, especially if you are excited about embarking on a project you have always wanted to do. However, remember the key is not to just openly announce a project that is still in the thoughts or process. Keep it to yourself until it is done. Stop telling people your visions or ideas. Your visions, your ideas are YOURS. Yes, you may want to tell your friends, family, or whoever your dreams and what you want to execute but they may not get it and often times when you tell them you may end up feeling discouraged, not going through with it. Tell no one unless they are involved in the process; just get on with it. Work hard and smart in silence. Your visions, dreams, and passions were given to you and no one else. Your visions were given to you. They were not given the same vision as you! This is your goal and mission and only you will know how to execute the plan.
The feeling of fear can be a downer, success sucker, and really stop you from doing your leap of faith. Snap out of it. Do not give into fear because whilst others are moving and doing, you are stuck and drowning in negativity. You were born to be GREAT! You were not created to be mediocre. Although the walk of life was not intended to be easy, life offers you differently. Often times you go through the hardships first before ease comes.
Every day you wake up, be thankful. Throughout the rest of your day, work on your goals and make notes of the ideas that come to mind. Taking small steps with effort will lead to great manifestation. Your visions/goals are like a new born baby. It needs tending to; it will need your attention, consistency, and time. The more time you sacrifice, your project will only blossom. Do not give into fear and allow anxiety to consume you. Trust in your abilities. Become a person that never quits but finds different ways to execute their desire and believe that speaking positive, thinking positive, and acting positively will bring you even greater results.
“Success is the sum of small efforts – repeated day in and day out.” —Robert Collier
The moment you turn your pain into passion, the moment you realise what your purpose is/ your passion, DO NOT WASTE ANY MORE TIME BEING MEDIOCRE. Spend an hour a day working and plotting on your plans. You have to sacrifice even when it does not seem to be blooming as much as you'd like. You have to keep it going; you did not start to stop.
Anything that is meant for you, will always be for you, no matter what the circumstances may look like, or however long it takes. All things will surely workout for your good. Do not even allow the fear that others are doing it or doing something similar stop you. Ever! There is a spot on the market for everyone with the right intentions. You cannot even allow your own thoughts to hold you back. Remember this: H&M, Topshop, JD, Footlocker, Nandos, and Tgi's all have their own consumers, people who would rather shop at one than the other. Reasons being everyone has different preferences, different likes and wants, and each shop differs from one another, as similar as they can be. Each shop has maybe one or two things that make it unique and authentic to its buyers. Therefore, believe in yourself. Do not fall short and give up, instead just do it. Go for it and believe in your works and vision.
Remember that Faith and Fear are two sides of the same coin and it resides within us. But never give into fear because all that will do is hold you back. Take your fear and make it a strength. In addition, according to psychologist Maslows' self-actualization theory, it suggests that we strive to be the best we can be by achieving our inner potential, which may or may not results in success. The "light you have" is your unique ability to become the best you can be!
You get to choose and create your own life. Understand the importance of The Laws of Attraction. Be bold, be courageous, and go out there and make a difference. It is your winning season!
“The biggest rewards in life are found outside your comfort zone. Live with it. Fear and risk are prerequisites if you want to enjoy a life of success and adventure.” Jack Canfield
