Breaking Out of the Comfort Zone

What makes you beat? What is it that you love doing? Would you rather be doing what you love than what you are currently doing?

"I'm continually trying to make choices that put me against my own comfort zone. As long as you're uncomfortable, it means you are growing" —Aston Kutcher

If stepping out your comfort zone scares you, it's a good thing—simply because it means you dream big. But do not allow it to stop you! Find the courage and chase your passion. We all have something that we are good at, in fact probably the best at, and it is what we would rather be doing. However, I get the fear of stepping out can be quite daunting.

I see stepping out of the comfort zone as stepping out in faith. You have no idea how it is going to happen, how you are going to start, and whether people would even support your dreams; all you've got is your dream and a plan that you still self-assuring. But, the one thing I know and you know too, is, if you don't believe in yourself, dreams and goals, how do you expect others to? You have to believe in yourself, speak things into existence, speak great things of yourself. More so, I have noticed with myself that when you have found your purpose, vision for your life, it will burn like fire, it will always be in your mind, for some it will make them working for others uncomfortable and unhappy due to the fact that they know they could be greater, and for others it will consume their thoughts until they see it through. Knowing that you are meant for something greater than what you are doing and it is tied with your passion, you will not be happy doing anything else. I know this because it has been my story too. Even if you are just getting started with it, do it, you'll get this sense of relief and once it is done you feel so accomplished, you feel so great within yourself. Additionally, when you are genuinely ready to work on your projects, you get both the desire to do it and the power to carry it out. Believe in yourself, use the laws of attraction to attain what you want. As unsure as you are, as inadequate and unqualified as you may feel and as fearful as you are about breaking out your comfort zone and stepping out in faith, remember you do not need to be the best of the best. You just need to have good intentions, believe in yourself and speak well.

“Everything you want is out there waiting for you to ask. Everything you want also wants you. But you have to take action to get it.”

—Jack Canfield

When trying and wanting to step and break out of your comfort zone, please do not tell people or announce things prematurely before it is even done. I know sometimes the feeling can be overwhelming especially if you are excited about embarking on a project you have always wanted to do but just do not tell others, keep it to yourself until it is done. Stop telling people your visions or ideas. Your visions, your ideas are YOURS. Yes, I get it, you want to tell your friends, family, or whoever your dreams and what you want to execute but they do not get it and often times when you tell them you may end up feeling discouraged. But listen to me, STOP telling people; just get on with it. Your visions, dreams, and passions were given to you and no one else. Your visions were given to you, and do not expect others to understand, they were not given the same vision as you! This is your goals and dreams and only you will know how to execute the plan.

"MOVE OUT YOUR COMFORT ZONE. You can only grow if you are willing you are to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something NEW." —Brian Tracy

Furthermore, more than feeling discouraged, I was scared. I didn't know how I was going to do it and whether I would be given the support or be taken seriously. It was hard, many thoughts associated to fear roamed my mind and I just became stagnant, staying within my comfort zone which altered no growth for me. I know the feeling of fear, it can be a downer and really stop you from doing your leap of faith. Snap out of it, do not give into fear because whilst others are moving and doing, you are just stuck and you and I both know you were created to be GREAT.  You were not created you to be mediocre. Although the walk of life was not intended to be easy. Life offers you differently, often times you hits you with hardship first before ease comes.

Every day you wake up be thankful.Throughout the rest of your day, work on your goals, make notes of the ideas that come to mind. Taking small steps with effort will lead to great manifestation. Your visions/goals are like a new born baby, it needs tending to, it will need your attention, consistency and time. The more time you sacrifice, your project will only grow. Do not give into fear, and allow anxiety to consume you. Trust in your abilities, become a person that never quits but finds different ways to execute their desire and believe that speaking positive, thinking positive and acting positively will bring you even greater results. Laws of attractions with the universe.

“Success is the sum of small efforts – repeated day in and day out.” —Robert Collier

The moment you turn your pain into passion, the moment you realise what you love to do/ your passion, DO NOT WASTE ANY MORE TIME BEING MEDIOCRE. Spend an hour a day working and plotting on your plans. You have to sacrifice even when it does not seem to be blooming as much as you'd like. You have to keep it going, you did not start to stop. Additionally, do not look at anyone else and think yeah I want to copy what they have done/are doing. However, if someone has a similar passion for you and it is genuinely your passion, GO FOR IT. Do not feel because they have started it first you can not, because trust me anything that is yours,  for you, no matter how long it takes you, no matter who else is doing something similar, you will surely manifest from it. When wanting to chase my dreams, and the discouragers started talking because I had prematurely spoken on my dreams. I came up with this perspective, H&M, Topshop, JD, Footlocker, Nandos and Tgi's all have their own consumers, people who would rather shop at one than the other. Reasons being we all have different preferences, different likes and wants, and each shop differs from one another, as similar as they can be, each shop has maybe one or two things that make it unique and authentic to its buyers. So believe me do not fall short and give up instead, just do it. Go for it and believe in your works and vision

"Before anything great is really achieved, your comfort zone must be disturbed." —Ray Lewis

Remember that Faith and Fear are two sides of the same coin and it resides within us. But never give into fear because all that will do is hold you back. In addition, According to psychologist Maslow's self-actualization theory, it suggests that we strive to be the best we can be by achieving our inner potential, which may or may not results in success. The "light we have" is our unique ability to become the best we can be.

"I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live up to what light I have." —Abraham Lincoln
