'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child:' Book Review
It’s been nineteen years since the Battle of Hogwarts. Harry Potter is Head of Magical Law Enforcement, husband to Ginny Weasley, and father to three children: Lily, James, and Albus. Life should be easy for the Chosen One, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The Ministry is up to their eyeballs in paperwork, nasty rumors are flying around about a specific magical object, and middle child Albus starts to realize being the child of Harry Potter isn’t all fun and games. This is especially as Albus is sorted into Slytherin and befriends Scorpius, son of Draco Malfoy.

'Marked (House of Night #1):' Book Review
In a world where vampyres and humans co-exist, high school student Zoey is struggling with home life and boy problems. The only way that could get worse is if she gets Marked as a vampyre fledgling, which, to her dismay, she does. Caught between terror at becoming something her friends and family are scared of and excitement at becoming her own person, Zoey enters into the House of Night, an insinuation that schools fledglings.

And This Is Why I Will Never Finish a Novel
I’m driving down the highway with the FM radio blasting or ignoring the stinging of floral soap in my eyes in the shower when it hits me—the perfect story idea. The sudden idea simmers in the forefront of my mind for a moment, then two, then three, and I realize that it’s the best idea I’ve ever had. It has romance and tragedy and action and maybe a bit of magic thrown into the mix, because, hell, why not? I’m grinning like an idiot as my heart races with excitement. Then I think, I'm a genius!

5 Stages of a College SeniorTop Story - June 2018
Every year, over a million students graduate from colleges all over the globe. They stand proud in their cap and gowns, ready to take their diploma with a smile. To the audience, they’re entirely poised and prepared to take on the world. In reality, they’ve had ten mental breakdowns, slammed out a 30-page thesis paper, and shotgunned two cases of beer (or bottles of wine)… all within the last seven days. And that’s not even the half of what we students endure throughout our whole senior year.
