Divorce Page Turners!
Anthea Turner published a book about surviving divorce and has been under scrutiny because of the interviews on the back of it. Back in 2014 I also published a book titled “The Divorce Toolbox- How to survive the courts, CAFCASS and Social Services while leading a normal life”. Two books about divorce written from the points of view of a celebrity and a non-celebrity. This clearly shows that regardless of someone’s status, whether they are a celebrity or not, divorce is a stressful process which comes with judgements and scrutiny.

Fit for Parenthood
This is the season for raising money for the Cancer charity Cancer Research UK by running, jogging or walking the Race for Life. Just over a week ago I took part in this great cause with my nine-year-old daughter. As well a being a worthwhile cause, another thing that was very apparent was how many children were taking part in the race. One way of getting fit is definitely with children.

The Playground Vs the Work Place!
The last post I wrote about bullying in the workplace prompted a lot of people to come forward and say they have been victims of bullying by a boss. When I have conversations with my daughter about the school playground, then conversations with family and friends about their workplaces, these conversations have a lot of similarities. In both scenarios there can be hierarchy backstabbing, gossiping etc. However in some instances children are often spoken to by teachers in a more respectful way than how line employers talk to employees.

Bullying Bosses Beware!
It is the very classic childhood fairy tale that someone who was considered ugly at school, never picked for a team, later on becomes stunning, with a very happy successful life. Even Einstein was kicked out of his math class for daydreaming. Nowadays workplace bullying is becoming as common as playground bullying, the same scenario happens in the working environment too. When someone gets dismissed from a job, bullied out of it, or passed over for promotion this can be the making of them.

Rape Victims Benefited from an Ordeal
Benefit of BREXIT? Following the new Brexit regime, the benefit cuts will have a huge impact, but particularly on rape victims. It is reasonable to limit tax credits to two children but then allow it for a third child if the child was the result of rape. Proof of the rape will be asked for, and claimants would have to complete an eight page document.
