Five Legitimate Ways to Make Money From Home

The panic begins to set in. You've just lost your job and the only means of income you have. You have bills to pay and you can already feel yourself drowning in them. What are you going to do?

I've been there. At one point, I was so poorly I couldn't work, I couldn't pay my bills and I couldn't see a way out. It's okay. Take a deep breath. Let me tell you a secret: Nothing can stop a determined enough woman. I spent hours looking for work I could do from home. Let me tell you now that it wasn't glamorous though.

If you have another option. I would probably take it. But here is somewhere to start if you really are as desperate as I was.

1. Phone Sex

Glamorous? Definitely not, but if you have the nerve, if you're open minded enough, and if you can keep a straight face in the funniest of moments, then this might be for you. The pay isn't great, they expect you to be available for lots of hours, and you won't get paid for those hours unless you are on calls. But desperate is desperate.

All you need to set yourself up as a phone sex operative (PSO) is a mobile phone usually (and the ability to fake it like no one has ever faked it before). There will be some PSO lines that require a landline but shop around and you should find something if you only have a mobile to hand.

2. Webcam Work

Now let me be straight with you. I have never done this as it isn't really my cup of tea. But I have heard that there is good money in webcam work and all you need is a laptop with webcam and to be relatively attractive (and have lots of self-confidence).

If you are comfortable enough in your own skin and you have the body for it then you won't be getting any judgement from me. Just be careful with which site you use; make sure they are well known and have a good history of paying their girls. If you are an expert in a particular field then you should definitely try freelancing in that field. For me, this was writing. 4. Text Chat

Again, this usually comes under phone sex but you only have to respond to texts that are sent to you. Companies typically pay you a few pence per text so the more texts you send the more you earn. These jobs are few and far between now. They are good pay really for such a small amount of work.

5. Blogging

This is tough to get started into. It may be more appropriate for those who already have blogs of their own because if you already have an audience then it is very easy to monetise your blog. There are countless pages on how to do this on the internet; have a search around. I'm sure you will be able to find one or two that can help.
